Rosatom in talks to build small nuke units in Saudi Arabia

SOCHI, Apr 15 (PRIME) -- Russian nuclear power corporation Rosatom is holding talks with Saudi Arabia on construction of small nuclear power units, CEO Alexei Likhachyov told reporters at a forum on Monday.

“We are also holding talks on units with a small capacity,” he said.

Rosatom is also holding talks with Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over a possibility of using Russian nuclear power technologies in the countries, he added.
